The New Zealand fighter weighed nearly 20lb above compared to Fabio Wardley as the two heavyweights cut self-assured appearances - although in contrasting styles - for this weekend's headliner in the capital.
From New Zealand Parker places his WBO interim championship and opportunity to compete for the world title on the line facing the undefeated Fabio Wardley at the London venue.
Undisputed heavyweight champion Usyk has indicated his aim to retain his championship titles against the successful fighter.
"This is the moment. This means everything," remarked a determined but zoned-in Fabio Wardley, aged 30, at yesterday's scale ceremony.
The Ipswich fighter - the holder of the WBA interim strap - weighed in at 17st 5lb, consistent with his recent bouts.
"This is the one before the big one. All preparation is finished. Training is wrapped up. All the hard work is done. Time for some relaxation now. Huge occasion ahead," he continued.
The historic venue in east London hosted not just typical items on the scales as the pair of fighters confronted each other for the last occasion before the bout.
Parker flashed a wink at the photographers and moved along to the tunes.
As he flexed his strength, he looked hefty and forceful as he registered at 18st 10lb, just five pounds less than his heaviest ever.
It is a significant difference from the sixteen stone twelve pound iteration who surrendered his world title to Joshua in 2018.
"We are cautious, we are wary, but I will to respond with equal force and I intend to connect with him," Joseph Parker stated.
I'm at a different level and will overpower him - Joseph Parker
Wardley, sporting an Ipswich top, held a straight face, acknowledged the crowd, but appeared zoned in.
Despite being the smaller man, Fabio Wardley has outstanding stopping ability. He produced a dramatic recovery against Justis Huni in the summer, down on the official tallies before stopping his rival in the tenth round despite being outmaneuvered for the majority of the bout.
"Joseph Parker, his team and boxing fans will learn I am destined to be at the summit of this heavyweight ranks," Wardley said.
"Each rival has been the one experts predict will defeat me. This is the one. His attributes include exceptional pace, rapid, vastly experienced. But My record is perfect so far, and nothing will change in the ring."
